Abstract

The article examines the historical development of irrigation systems in the Fergana Valley, the expansion of irrigated lands, and the economic and environmental consequences of agrarian policy based on scientific sources. The author comprehensively highlights the formation of irrigation infrastructure, the role of the Great Fergana Canal in regional development, the characteristics of Soviet agrarian policy, and its environmental consequences. The research findings are of significant scientific importance for the rational use of water resources and the improvement of agrarian policy under modern conditions.
