Abstract

Today, various stress factors (drought, sudden temperature changes, salinization, air pollution) are observed in nature and agriculture due to global climate change. Increasing stress tolerance in plants is an important ecophysiological issue. This article analyzes the main ecophysiological mechanisms of stress tolerance, including protection of photosynthesis, activity of antioxidant systems, osmotic adaptations and hormonal regulation.
