Abstract

This article focuses on the role and importance of folk architecture in modern architecture. The application of traditional architectural form and decorative elements in modern architecture, their functional, cultural and aesthetic harmonization are studied. This process develops on the principle of continuity and serves to transmit to future generations the knowledge and skills that have been formed through historical stages.
