This article examines the development of pedagogical competence in future informatics teachers through software-based independent learning. The importance of digital technologies and software tools in modern education is analyzed. Independent learning is considered an important factor in developing pedagogical skills. The results show that software use is effective in enhancing pedagogical competence.
