This study aims to examine the views of two of the most prominent contemporary Imami scholars, Sayyid Abu al-Qasim al-Khoei (d. 1413 AH) and Sheikh Muhammad Baqir al-Bahboudi (d. 1435 AH), regarding the judgment of prophetic hadiths, while clarifying the methodological principles each relied on to verify or assess the weakness of narrations. The study also sheds light on the points of agreement and disagreement between the two approaches and their impact on accepting or rejecting narrations. The study used descriptive, analytical, and comparative methods, referring to the works of the two scholars, especially Al-Khoei's "Dictionary of Hadith Narrators" and al-Bahboudi's "Sahih al-Kafi," drawing on primary sources of references and hadith used by the Imami school.
